When we have Democratic government, one of the first victims is business. Not that the private sector faired very well under the last two Bush years. Who knows what the next steps designed to punish the last crime or protect the consumer will be. While not especially riveting, this discussion on CNBC highlights the importance of what Congress shouldn't do.
Congress should not get in the way of real entrepreneurs and small business owners that are working really hard to create strong companies that give people good jobs. By not get in the way, I mean not help or hurt. These business people and their strategic partners (banks and other funding groups) deserve the leeway to build the economy, one real customer at a time.
(Yeah, the Jeff in the movie is the founder and leader of the business school I attend.)
(Watch the linked clip and notice what Fmr. Maj. Leader Armey says about my school.)
(No more bragging, promise.)
