Long Week & A Bright Spot
This week was busy. Although I had relatively few assignments, each one seemed to take longer (and more sittings) than it should have. Other obligations seemed to mount as well.
However, after reading two accounting books, performing several exercises, and using MBA Math for a while, I completed the assigned financial reports easily. Everything (from the unit economics to the balance sheets) connected in my brain and made the assignment intuitive. I even remembered which points connected between the sheets and computed everything from multiple approaches to ensure I'd done it right. I had. I am learning.
That is what I cling to as I look at the next three weeks, leading up to when things start actually getting crazy. By that point I hope to have life reduced to zen-like simplicity. To get there, I have to finish two jobs, move 1500 miles, and get settled into a completely new city. Oh yeah, not to forget passing a test to ensure I stay in the program. Bring it, I'm learning.
