Nathanael Yellis is a solutions architect who advises HubSpot’s larger and more complex customers with detailed solution designs for technical challenges and opportunities.

Since 2017, he's worked with HubSpot customers on CRM and integrated applications to fuel their growth. His work produces  software usage and retention because it leads to results.

He lives on the Massachusetts North Shore where he enjoys growing bonsai trees, downhill skiing with his four kids, and playing the occasional round of [bad] golf.

Nathanael's Career 

Starting in 2010, Nathanael worked in non-profit marketing and technology management. His highlights include creating an instance of Sugar CRM, customized for non-profits, product managing a custom advocacy app, and replacing an outmoded email blast tool with advanced marketing automation tools. Nathanael presented the results of this work at Marketo's 2015 conference.  At a small marketing agency, Nathanael managed search, social, and display ad campaigns for a variety of clients. Highlights from Nathanael's agency work include promoting a 10,000-attendee event during the 2016 presidential primary.

Nathanael joined HubSpot in 2017 as a go-to-market consultant, helping marketing, sales and service teams reach their goals. He began by managing 40 HubSpot customers and delivered consulting services to their marketing, sales, and service teams. His clients grew in complexity to where his book of business comprised 20 of HubSpot’s largest and most complex customers. His consultative approach included weekly project calls, advanced solution design, and business process/change management. As a leader in HubSpot’s professional services organization, Nathanael created and delivered training for business acumen, mentored junior consultants, and helped define and maturing the consulting practice.

In 2023, Nathanael moved into a solutions architect role in HubSpot's strategic account segment. His work focuses on technical challenges and opportunities. The architecture work produce includes creating proofs of concepts and detailed solution designs. His scope is the entirety of HubSpot, with a particular emphasis on enterprise 

He is a certified HubSpot Solutions Architect, able to design data model, API, and advanced business process automations.
